Hillbilly Proud made its first visit to Linger Run for their annual “Havoc in the Hills”. Linger Run is a excellent place in the West Virginia hills near Weston. The farm has a great hill side for the big volume of spectators who showed up to view the difficult mud pit. Several levels have been cut into the hill to make it effortless for people to preserve individuals chairs and coolers flat. Above 130 runs by means of the pit made for a wonderful day of racing. This was a day for the large mud eating trucks and no rail buggies. We had a great time on the farm and hope to return once more. We would like to thank the Lingers for acquiring us and for the hospitality they showed us. All 5 movies are nothing but muddy truck racing action.

“Challenge in the Hills” is still so much fun, but just in a different way. The festivities have been cut way down the past couple of years, which lead to a large family attendance this year. Seeing the kids camping, fishing, and loving the racing in such a beautiful WV mountain location is really cool. The mud pit was as exciting as ever with some great mud throwing passes.
The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in Weston, WV continues to expand their type and number of motorsports events. It is a great location and we appreciate their support of off road motorsports. This was our first visit to TALA in 2009. We covered the mud bog pit, speed pit, and the new hill n hole.
