i know what your sayin i got a rail im not lookin for a fight but just putting a garden hose to some peat for 20 mins doesnt seem like mud racing

  • fastmudder says:

It doesn’t matter if you have 24 FEET of mud..
These cars go right over the top of it..
    They will skim water…

  • pirate31red says:

i dont know its not really even in the mud we race in24″ minimun here in ab makes for atleast a bit of a chalenge

  • flyin400 says:

Thanks for all the info, it was very helpful!

  • fastmudder says:

    A 468 is a 454 bored 60 over.
It’s very capable of making 1400hp with 40 pounds of boost..

Blown mudracers will have anywhere from 1200hp to 4000hp depending on how crazy the owner wants to get. There are NO cubic inch or horsepower restrictions in mud racing. Just weight 2450# and wheelbase 150″…

  • brendonurieismybffl says:

what are you running there? how many cubes?
do you have any knowledge on building a 2WD mini-rod for tractor pulling. i’m thinking of putting on a v-8 hemi. but i’m not sure what cranks out the most power.

  • flyin400 says:

How much power would one of those have? I met a guy claiming his was around 1400hp. It was a 468 Chevy (I think it was a 454 bored out to the max)it was alcohol burning and had a supercharger putting out 40psi.

Please, someone tell me if this is accurate or what an average mud dragster might have horsepower wise. The man also said that his engine all total was around 40k dollars. I hope this is enough info for an accurate assumption.
